Coloured Nutrient Powder, Resin & Wire

This installation was commissioned by a nutrition company to create a visual setup in their showroom space that represents what the companys’ life science department does.
The idea being captured here was of how the nutrients that they produce enhances the human body. It was, thus, decided to use the companys’ coloured nutrient powders to create the form of a human figure.
The coloured nutrient powders were encased in a circular dish of resin, representing a petri dish. They were then suspended on clear wire and in measured distances. Upon arranging these different lines together, the coloured powder dishes come together to form the shape of a human figure.
